Install ax

Install the client

Install instructions are published at downloads.getaster.now/ax/. Install ax on the machine where you or your agent submits commands. Deployment copies a compatible ax binary to the runner over SSH and configures its service.

The client connection broker requires a Unix host. The setup guide uses a Linux runner with systemd and cgroup v2. See where jobs run for the client and runner responsibilities.
